EXTENDED HEALTH CARE PLANS
Please advise us at the time of booking if you have extended benefits
Many extended health care plans provide coverage for massage therapy and will now pay massage therapists directly on behalf of their insured customers. Contact your provider directly to determine your annual and/or visit allowance.
In order for your therapist to bill your extended health care plan directly for the cost of your treatment, please provide us with your policy number and member ID at the time of booking and bring your wallet card and doctor’s referral to your initial appointment.
Our therapists are currently able to bill the following plans directly:
- Canada Life (formerly Great West Life)
- Chamber of Commerce
- Desjardins Insurance
- Industrial Alliance
- Johnson Inc.
- Manulife Financial
- Pacific Blue Cross
- RWAM Insurance Administrators
- Standard Life
- Sun Life Financial
Individuals who qualify for subsidy under the Medical Services Plan of British Columbia may be entitled to assistance with the payment of fees for massage therapy. If you are unsure whether this applies to you, please let us know - a member of our team would be pleased to assist you.
MSP will pay a maximum of $23 per treatment, regardless of the duration of the appointment. This amount will be deducted from the clinic rates outlined above.
ICBC has recently updated their accident benefits to better support your care and recovery.
ICBC will pay a pre-determined rate, regardless of the duration of the appointment. If the actual treatment costs exceed the amount payable by ICBC, you will be responsible for paying the difference and will not be able to recover the user fees from ICBC, however, a receipt for any additional amounts paid will be provided to you at the time of treatment and you may submit these to your private health insurer for consideration.
For more information, please discus your treatment options at the time of booking.
